The future of banknotes and their use.

Many people with the current market trend assume that physical banknotes will progressively diminish until their disappearance, and that their function will be entirely taken over by credit cards and Internet payments.

Although it is true that credit cards have taken up a part of the payments that were previously made with banknotes, it is impossible that banknotes will eventually disappear. And to make clear the continuity of banknotes, the ECB (European Central Bank) has announced that it will renew all Euro banknotes in 2024. Banknotes guarantee a freedom and privacy impossible to achieve with credit cards.
