A man has been arrested for trying to pay with a fake 50 euro bill in Gorliz (Bizkaia), as reported by the Basque Department of the Interior.
A young man of 22 years of age has also been this Tuesday in the Biscayan town of Gorliz for trying to pay with a fake 50 euro bill and also own another four tickets.
At one o'clock on Tuesday, the Ertzaintza learned that a young man had tried to pay, without success, with a fake ticket at a Sopelana petrol station, although on detection he had paid with another legal tender.
The Ertzaintza, together with the Local Police of Gorliz, began the search of the subject, who was located next to his vehicle shortly after by the municipal agents in that locality.
In addition, the Basque Police took charge of the case and proceeded to arrest the suspect for a crime of counterfeiting currency.
In addition to the ticket used at the gas station, the detainee was also charged with four other 50-euro counterfeit bills.
