How to install a POS Stand without drilling the furniture

In order to install a POS POLE on a counter we need to drill the furniture or counter.
Although Countermatic supplies a plastic cover to hide the screws, in many cases, drilling the furniture can be a problem.

As solution, Countermatic supplies an extra strong double sided adhesive pad. it has a rounded shape that sticks onto the counter and under the main pole safely securing the mount to the countertop.
Can this adhesive pad be removed in the future without causing damage to the counter?
Yes by carefully using a putty knife to remove the adhesive pad without damaging the countertop
