According to the Bank of Spain, 100 million bills of € 500 are in circulation in Spain. That is equivalent to € 50,000 million. This huge amount is an attraction to forgery.

So far the most falsified Euro banknote is that of 50 Euros.

COMPOSITION
Euro bills are made of cotton fibers and incorporate a combination of safety features.

The main elements are:

Watermarks: An image is shown and the figure that indicates its value.
Security thread: An invisible magnetic thread that crosses the ticket and indicates its value.
Hologram: In the € uro and higher value tickets there is a hologram with architectural motifs and the value of the ticket.
Magnetic ink: The tickets have an element printed on a color-changing ink.

The best way to detect a fake ticket is through a fake bank detector that contains UV, MT, MG and IR. With this, it is possible to cover the entire spectrum of verification.

The counterfeiters have managed to overcome some of the detection techniques. It would be surprising that they managed to overcome them all, for the expensive and difficult, but to achieve it, the ticket would be doing well.
